When you join a Devotional Series, each Monday you will receive both a text and an email with a link to your weekly devotion packed with inspiration, application and encouragement. If you only want to receive an email or only a text, just leave the email or text field blank.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

• Registration Instructions for participants living outside of the US and Canada: Text messages can only be delivered to US and Canadian 10-Digit cellular phone numbers. Not to worry, links to your Pocket Devotionals are sent by both text and email. If you do not have a US/Canadian 10-Digit cellular phone number, leave the cellular phone field blank and just enter your email address, and the Pocket Devotional System will send your devotionals to your email only.
• How much does it cost? Pocket devotionals are free.
• Can I choose to only receive my devotional by just text or just email? Yes, if you only want to receive your devotional by just text or just email, leave the field blank that you do not want us to send your devotional to.
• Can I participate in more than one Pocket Devotional at a time? Yes, you can participate in all or one at the same time. Each Pocket Devotional series requires a separate signup.
• Can I pause or stop (Opt Out) receiving emails and texts if I choose? Yes. To Opt Out, text “STOP” to our Pocket Devotional Text Number (510-588-5880) and you will be removed from our list. If you choose to “Opt Back In” simply text “START” to our Pocket Devotional Text Number (510-588-5880), this will automatically opt you back in.
• What’s included with the Pocket Devotional? Each week you will receive a text message and an email with a link to your Pocket Devotional. Your weekly devotional link will open the devotional page where you can read your devotional message and participate in exercises.
• If I don’t have a cellular phone number can I still participate? Yes, Pocket Devotionals are sent by email and/or text. If you do not have a cellular number or a US/Canadian 10-Digit cellular number, just skip the cellular phone field and enter your email only. The Pocket Devotional System will send to your devotional to your email address only.
• How will I know if I’m registered for my Pocket Devotional? Immediately after you register, you will receive both an email confirmation and a text confirmation sent to US/Canadian cellular phones. Check your email spam/junk folder and if necessary, mark your Pocket Devotional email as “not spam”
• How will I know the text is from Pocket Devotional? Your Pocket Devotional text messages will be sent from our system phone number that begins with 510-588 or when the text contains a link, the text will be sent from one of our toll-free numbers that beings with 855-
• Can I respond to the text messages? Our Pocket Devotional text numbers are for sending only. If you would like to contact us, you can do so by both Live Chat and email from our website.

• Can I update my email address or cellular phone number after I start? Yes. At the bottom of your weekly Pocket Devotional email is a link to update/manage your contact information. You will a separate email weekly for each Pocket Devotionals that you are participating in and you will need to update each one separately. 
• Can I send a request for prayer to the Pocket Devotional text number? No, our Pocket Devotional text numbers and email are used for sending only. To request prayer, you can visit our online Prayer Wall and submit a prayer request.
