Some of our deepest desires in life will follow us to the grave unless we embrace faith in action.  As Christians, we’re often stuck between belief and action when it comes to manifesting God’s promises in life.
Prayer, hope and desire are the beginning but the catalyst for change is action. Faith is not the action, faith is the force behind the actions that lead to change.
I’m reminded of Elijah’s crisis in 1 Kings 19:1-18.  Ready to die because of blinding fear, Elijah pleaded for God to take his life after receiving a death threat from Jezebel.  After compassionately allowing Elijah to chill and to get his mind right, God asked Elijah, “What are you doing here Elijah?”  In essence, God was saying, after all that I’ve shown you, why on earth are you doubting My ability to do through you what I’ve done in the past.
The bible says, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Elijah’s threat wasn’t the letter, Elijah’s threat was unbelief THAT paralyzed him from action.
I’ve seen relationships, businesses and teams struggle to go to their next level or overcome adversity simply because of inaction or doing wrong things right.
When we’re confronted by a life situation, a relationship issue or even a business challenge, the solution is always in putting faith behind actions that align with our desired outcome.  If we want to have better communication in a relationship (the goal), we have to define the actions that we’re putting the power of faith behind to achieve our goal.  If we want a more cohesive team, we have to define the actions that we’re going to put our faith as a team behind to achieve our goal.
No matter what our desire or need is, with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26), but nothing is possible if the goal is met with an unwillingness to put faith behind actions or the right work that supports our goal.
When the bible says, “Faith without works is dead,” we are wise to trust God on this, as it is the guiding principle for walking in victory. You are created to win, conquer and to overcome. You have what you need and you have access through divine law to the universe of resources to accomplish anything that God said you could.  Believe, define, act.
See you at the top!
